If you’re looking to add a splash of style to your nails without the hassle of expensive salon visits, nail wraps are your new BFFs. These trendy little wonders are super easy to apply and can instantly level up your nail game. Let’s dive into how to fit nail wraps like a pro:

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies Before you start, make sure you have everything you need. You’ll want nail wraps, a pair of small scissors, a cuticle pusher (or end of a teaspoon if you don’t have one!), a nail file, and a clear topcoat for that polished finish (This part is optional but more on this later!)

Step 2: Prep Your Nails Start with clean, dry nails. Gently push back your cuticles using the cuticle pusher. This will create a smooth surface for the nail wraps and help them adhere better. Ensuring your nails are totally dry is absolutely key to ensuring the wraps stay put! Wash with water and a cotton pad, before drying with a clean cotton pad and allowing a few moments for any excess moisture to dissipate.

Step 3: Select the Right Size Nail wraps usually come in various sizes to match your nails. Choose the wrap that best fits your nail surface. Nail wraps can be applied to both your natural nails or acrylics.

Step 4: Peel and Apply There are two layers to peel off on a nail wrap, first the clear protective film which protects the polish, and then the backing paper. You can do this with your fingers or tweezers. Align the edge of the wrap with your cuticle line, leaving a slight gap to prevent it from touching your skin. Press down the wrap gently (starting with the centre and working outwards), and then use your fingertip or the flat side of the cuticle pusher to smooth it out.

Step 5: Trim and File Using your scissors, trim any excess wrap that extends beyond your nail tip. Next, use the nail file to file off the excess wrap in a downward motion. This will create a clean and smooth edge.

Step 6: Seal the Deal Classic nail wraps do not need an added top coat, however, adding one can give a longer lasting result, so if you do wish to do so, you can add a standard top coat, or a gel top coat followed by curing. (Gel nail wraps all require a gel top coat and cure.)

Step 7: Repeat and Rock It Continue steps 3 to 6 for all your nails. Experiment with different designs and colors to create a stunning, unique look that matches your style.

Step 8: Flaunt Those Fab Nails Now that your nail wraps are on point, show them off! Whether you’re going to a party, a casual outing, or just snapping some Instagram-worthy pics, your nails will be turning heads.

There you have it, folks! A simple and chic way to fit nail wraps and express your creativity. Enjoy your gorgeous nails and don’t be surprised when everyone asks, “Where did you get those done?”
