Nail Wraps 101: The Art of Perfect Application

Are you tired of spending hours at the nail salon or struggling with tricky nail polish at home? Nail wraps are the answer you've been looking for. These convenient and stylish nail stickers can give you a salon-worthy manicure in no time without the damage of gel polish or acrylic nails.

Start with Clean Dry Nails

Remove any existing nail polish and ensure your nails are clean and dry. It is important they are entirely dry to avoid the nail wraps lifting or allowing moisture underneath.

Push Back Cuticles

Gently push back your cuticles with a cuticle pusher or a wooden stick. This step ensures a clean and polished look.

Apply the Wraps

Select the Right Size

Choose a nail wrap that closely matches the size of your nail. It's better to go slightly smaller than larger. You can always trim the wrap if needed.

Peel Off the Protective film and Backing

Carefully remove the protective film from the front of the nail wrap and then the backing from the nail wrap revealing the adhesive side. Be gentle to avoid tearing the wrap.

Fit The Nail Wrap

Align the nail wrap with your cuticle and place it at the base of your nail. Use tweezers for precision if you feel it is helpful. Press down on the wrap to ensure there are no bubbles or creases. Start from the centre and work your way towards the edges.

Trim & File

Trim the excess and then use a nail file to file away any excess wrap, following the natural curve of your nail and filing downward. This will give your nails a clean, finished look.

Seal the Deal

Top Coat

Applying a clear top coat helps seal the nail wraps and prolong their lifespan. It also adds extra shine to your manicure. It is an optional step, but I love to add a 'no cure' gel top coat.

Allow to Dry

Let your nails dry completely before using them. This usually takes about 15-20 minutes. Try and avoid water for 6 hours if you can.
